I am looking into doing this.. I have a couple of questions will the stock throttle cable still work??? Would you still jet the same as stock carbs?? Also what carbs are you using or where are you buying them..

1993-97 Polaris 580 triple snowmobiles used 34 mikunis and they are cheap to buy thinking of using those?? Any problems forseen

I'm not qualified to answer most of your questions, but I'll hip you to what I know so far:

I put sled 34's on my H2 and it made a HUGE difference in performance. I used the stock cable. I switched to pre-mix at the same time so my jetting wouldn't work for you. Possibly on the old website, I found vague-but-useful starting recommendations for jetting. I put giant, expensive K&N cones on it but will use cheap and bendable Uni-Flows for the H1.

The reason I'm not giving the 34mm a huge thumbs-up is that the engine won't idle down. It could be the fact that I've got an extremely used crank in it, or possibly due to some inlet-valve or other sled-related jetting bugaboo. This summer I'll devote more time to it, including the crank.

Huge difference in HP tho.

These are cool looking. Any adapter will likely require some port matching. You won't need to worry about cutting any cylinder fins off or anything drastic like that with these and the appropriate rubber manifolds. I believe rubber manifolds should be available from any Sudco dealer.

I've not seen these personally...are they drilled to use the OEM H2 rubber manifolds? Sorry, can't read German. Isn't this Ralf's buddy?

Try lifting the needle by 1 groove (lower clip) and re-adjust the pilot/AS to suit. Bin there done that! ;)

german translation
with this set you can put on H1 and KH 500 engine carburators from H2
The set is for 3 manifold as you see on the picture and as I describe it.
The flanges are also made with high quality alloy 7075 CNC.
