I actually am only in need of the base piece that clamps to the shaft. So bent kick starters or one from other bikes that are compatible with my spline size would be perfect. Let me know if you have something. Thanks.

I have read and posted to a thread or two on this subject recently.
There are ones from KZ models that work well it has been reported.
Unforunately, the boss or part you called the base piece, usually costs almost as much as a complete kicker.

I am using a KZ 750B Twin kicker on my H2 cheap on fleabay. I think I paid $20 for mine.
