Battery could use replacing in my '02 Sebring, so I did the standard Youtube search for a how to, in case it was an oddball deal.

IT WAS

Why would anyone build a car, that makes you take the front wheel off and remove a panel under the wheel well to get to the freaking battery???

Does this bear any resemblance to an Elantra?

I just had to replace a 6 month old battery in my kids car... I didn't really care that it was under warranty... It was changing the bloody thing at -20!

My folks had an old VW station wagon and the battery was under the rear seat. Not all that hard to replace but wasn't used to one being there.

Been there with my former '64 Bug. There's no room in the cramped engine compartment out back, and of course you wouldn't want it up front where the gas tank resides, so...
