Woo Hoo-thanks John! That is very clear. I also want to thank others who attempted to help. I knew that parts fische diagram was not clear. Good thing I ordered another "kit" of the rubber dampers.

Doh, I always hated that drawing - the speedo/tach look like they belong on a 350, for a start....! :?

Evans -- No, there is no damper in the 12 o-clock position for the speedo. It rests directly on the light bulb harness.

Thanks again John. I came in from my shop and saw that it did not need the top damper for speedo. All is buttoned up now there so can move on to other projects.
