This build has been on the bench for months. Just got back to it. I found a hairline crack on one of the fingers on the clutch basket. I would like to replace this part. It is clutch housing 13095-039 which was superceded by 13059-1040. I am looking for a good used part.

Does anyone have a good, usable clutch basket for S3 of KH400 laying around?
Or do you know where I can get one?

I see a couple of NOS clutch housings on eBay for ~$400 ish. Yikes! Too rich for my blood.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Gamble is right with "claws" stuff, yours is probably better. I have some nice ones if you can't find any, fair price. Funny not too much on eBay for those , I should list more S series stuff.

A Gamble is just about the right description. That part shown in the picture is the wrong part for S3 or KH400. The gear on that one is cut on a helix. The proper part is a straight cut gear. Who knows what that part is for or what condition it is in? Mr. Monkeyclaw does not know . . .

Thanks for the links Johnny!

As mentioned - that first item is the wrong part for the S3.
Second item is something that I looked at but passed for the moment. Best looking used solution so far.
Third item - is the clutch hub from Mr. Monkeyclaw and probably from the same unknown bike as the housing.
I may contact that last guy you linked and see what he has.

First I will see what the members here have to part with.

H1FR - You have no idea how hard S3 parts are to get. Not as many repro items as H2 and H1 models. I would rather pay you a fair price for a good part than going with an unknown on eBay. Can you take a look at your collection? Let me know if you have this part.

Thanks

I definitely have one - and can give you a nice price! I modded one for my S3 to accept Barnett springs (which are too fat otherwise)...first time in years I can ride without slippage!

I threw one up on eBay. So you could see the pictures. If interested make me a offer.

Thanks Danny
