Want to buy a H1B. Looking for one that is as original as possible (paint, pipes) and either runs or needs a motor overhaul. Not looking to restore one as I've just finished my '72 H2 and cannot face another restoration at this time. I will consider other years but don't want to spend the mega bucks on a '69 or '70. I am located in Long Beach, CA.
Thanks,

What's your budget for a rough one. I don't have one, but I know where some are in Northern California. I have every part but that's not cheap one part at a time.

My budget stops around $5K but I really don't want a rough one. Currently got a bead on a couple of original but not running H1Bs. What I really want is something stock and original, not restored.
Thanks

, just trying to give a lead. The ones I have in mind are rough. The guy that has them, normally he does not sell cheap , or I would buy them.

Good point about snapping up the cheap bikes. This is probably the worst place in the world to buy a triple as everyone on here knows the value of their bikes (and its probably inflated at that) but hopefully I'll get a good one from one of the board members. I also own a '72 Z1 and trying to pick up parts off the Z1 sites is next to impossble as those guys horde the early parts. Don't blame them though as you often regret selling a part.
