OK so you might want to hear the story. Just got done rebuilding the crank (thanks Porsche Dave), barrels bored w/ Woessner pistons, new clutch, tires, MZB ignition. The whole 9 yards. Rode the bike down to Haight Street, parked. A guy comes up who had one in 1971. Totally teary eyed. I asked him if he wanted to start it. So he kicks it so hard that the kickstarter snaps straight off (!).

tl;dr Now I need one. Any givers? Located in San Francisco.

Depending on how "correct" you care to have it, there are kick levers from different models that fit, work and look fine.
I bought one for my H1.

I have not installed it yet.
It is the one that some other members used and there is a post somewhere showing it installed.

Found it.....
Seems its a good fit for the S3 models as well.

if works on H1 should work on S1 S2 S3 as my actual kick starter on my 69 H1 is a modified S2 one

I believe that I have several sitting around. They are not in the best shape but they are sound. Is the spline end on the H1B kicker the same size as the H1 or is it smaller? I have some with a smaller diameter spline and not sure what they came off of.

I am fairly sure the H1 all have the same kicker shaft.
40 bucks shipped for a perfect brand new one works for me.
They were $29.95 with free shipping when I bought mine.
Must be sellers realized the secondary uses eh?
:eh:
