With the cold weather gripping Oklahoma (and most of the US), I'm passing time cleaning up my cases. I thought this one may have been a bin job, but after some serious filing to get the grooves out, sanding with 320, 800, 1000, 2000, grit paper, and a light polish, it hasn't turned out too bad. Now it's time to get the heat gun to the CDI units, so I can send the empty boxes off to Jim at Lakeserv to be have new internals fitted (I had a faulty B unit).

Straight off the bike.

After some filing with a flat file.

After sanding and polishing. Not perfect, but way better than it came off the bike.

Starting to look shiny, now all I have to do is get the bike to run :D
