Just look at an early H1 - no where to store anything, not even tools or spark plugs! :roll:

I used to store tools in the tail section and plugs and a quart of 2-stroke oil in the unused airbox chamber when I had my KH400! :) Those racks may look a little fugly or obtrusive to the purist, but it saves your back as an option to wearing a backpack. :thumbup:
