Hi Tim, and welcome to the board. I'm familiar with the 1975 H1 CDI system, but what is a points carbon sender?

There are 3 on the end of the coil assembly that look like carbon brushes in an electric motor. One is bad and not getting spart to the left cylinder.

Ok, they are, as you said, carbon brushes. Each one grounds a specific coil when it's time for that coil to fire. They are available, but I can't tell you where offhand. Try a search here for "carbon brushes" and similar things. I think one of the guys here said there are some Yamaha brushes that work and are less expensive than the Kaw ones. Some guys get them from electric motor repair shops.

The parts listing, available on the resource site, should provide a part number if you need to search that.

Resource site: www.kawtriple.com/mraxl
