Made it home from the east, 2360 miles in 8 1/2 days on two wheels, and even a couple miles on a triple within all that!

We met up with kawracer, southernS2, and rShaw as we travelled. I was a nice anti-Sturgis ride, whenever I saw the people going to or coming from Sturgis we were going the other way.

We had a great ride only had to dodge tire pieces once when an ambulance blew a right front tire in front of us. We were on the interstate, when he went past us with a low front tire, I anticipated what was coming and had backed way out of it.

Glad you had a safe trip. Riding smart is a good thing. I'm sorry you have to go back to work. I don't :P

Any pics? That must have been fun. 300 plus miles per day was a good average.

Glad y'all made it back ok Joe. Wife and I are heading out Saturday to ride the whole parkway and back. Not nearly as many miles as you did but should be a great ride. It never gets old riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
