Just took in another project, cylinders have never been off. Spent 6 hours yesterday and they are not budging. Used lots of heat, a pusher and
PB Blaster. Will give it another go next weekend. Pistons move but cylinders are corroded on the studs :(

Nothing unusual there, A bit of anti-seize on the bottom area of the studs will stop that, of course if you ever get the cylinders off....... :banghead

Time for the MC hammer...used with judicious force, of course. :D

Sorry I sold my last set to a member here from Norway last December. Only set I have on the shelf is a 74 set with rubber mounts going
into my next build for myself.

The rig you have looks good - I would try muriatic acid down the stud holes or even hydrochloric acid..just a spoonful and have lots of water nearby to neutralize before it hurts the aluminum.

That sound like a good plan. I'm letting them soak with PB blaster till the weekend. Will try again Saturday, should have some acid on the shelf.
