Clutch levers are silver on early vin 72 and black on later 72's I believe. Researched this as I was questioning my own '72 restorations... Very nice bike!

I can't wait until my shop is completed. Your bike is beautiful and really an inspiration for me. I only hope my restoration comes out half as nice as yours. Great job!! :thumbup:

I haven't had a lot of time to work on the H2 because I am caring for my Mom most of the day(she has ALS) so progress has been slow. All I have left now is to put in the new clutch plates and the O rings for the oil pump when they show up and hook up the cables, add the petcock and she's done. There is screws missing on the clutch cover cause I have to take it off again.

Do you know if you can buy new or repro pipes for an H2B or only the early H2's,if so where did you get them ,if it is not too personal how much did this resto cost you went right through it didn't you and appear to have done most of it yourself even the engine and gearbox etc great work you are an inspiration,CHEERS HOOTER. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Hooter there's a guy on UK who makes H2B C repro exhausts but if you order them now you will get them in middle 2015 or 2016 :mrgreen:
