Guts, your bike parts look awsome, and especially like seeing them in the house you should assemble the bike there ! But I did notice in the background what looked like a Browining Bar ? Is it the real deal ?

One is a Bren and the other is a Browning 1919, and they are both genuine.

I am plugging away. It takes more time to find the nuts and bolts I misplaced than anything. ;)

Progress was slow today and it was cold and rainy so the garage was cold. I fixed up the left side switch housing and replaced the cracked up sheathing and installed the handle bars and gauges. The handle bars are original with the steel weights. Now I have about everything test fit so I can take off the seat and tins and put in the engine.

The switch house was nasty.

I suppose you know your clutch lever assy should be bare metal and not black ; no troubles as I should fit one on my 71 H2 unless I put the black paint off

That sucks, I actually thought it was supposed to be black. I guess I'll have to get the old one out and spruce it up. It looked like traces of black paint on the one that came off the bike so I ordered the black one. Somehow the intel on this deal never reached me. ;)

I got a little more done but now it's cold and snowing outside and my little shack of a garage is too cold to work in. It is supposed to warm up Thursday and I will get back after it.
