Absolutely beautiful! Love the Orange too and will look forward to pics. Mind sharing who does your zinc plating?

I do it myself with the Caswell Kit. A couple of guys on the NEdirtbikes site came up with a home brew method on their own that is dirt cheap to do.

And now for the bittersweet moment, the end. The bike fired right up and has been run about 2 miles up and down the road. I will be taking it to the DMV this week for registration and hope to have, (if this Winter ever ends) a couple hundred miles and the hidden Gremlins worked out for Deals Gap first week in May. As of now, (anyone who has a vintage bike knows what I mean by that) everything works. All lights, horn. brakes, motor, is working pretty damn well.

May I say first, this bike is a Looker! The Orange color, Larry got it perfect, Thanks again Larry. Tom, thank you for the bike, it will be on it's way to your house with a favorite screwdriver of yours in the very near future. I can't wait for you to see the bike and take it for a spin.

To all who have followed this thread, thank you. So, God willing, until next Winter and a project still to be found, my finished pics.

Bike looks great!
It may not make any difference to you but H1B chain cover was black.

It was Chrome when I got the bike and looked original. The one on Ebay right now is Chrome too. Could they have done both?

I think you're right. I know of three B's that I would say are very original - including the one I restored. Two had chrome one was black.

Thank You Dave. The bike runs smooth as grease thru a Goose and I gotta believe that has something to do with your fine crank work. I would love to do an H2 but with prices the way they are nowadays for a donor bike, well, we'll see.
