I remember reading a post some time go on Jetting kits available from Ivans performance group, or something like that. I visited the web site yesterday.
Has any member used his jet kit???? Opionons?? Just curious, as kit is not cheap. My bike in question for jet kit is H1A. Thanks

I have an Ivan's jet kit in my H1A. Ivan's Jets kits were not developed for the early H series triples but for the later. The only thing that seem to be different was I had to set up the pilot circuit leaner then what Ivan been called for. The big reason that the kit cost so much is that the needle Jets need replacing. One needle jets really affect how the mid range works on the bikes.

Ivan's kits really do clean up the mid range running on a bike that has enough miles to wear the needle jets.

The H1 runs a lot better but on my H2 it is really significant. Ivan's kit really addresses a lot of the problems.

The H1 the big improvement is the midrange.

I have a set in my H1B and it works fine. I had to go to 35 pilots.
Joe Byrd ( Battleaxe ) has a set in his H1A..If I remember correctly he likes the kit.

Joe I thought you had gone up in size on the Pilot jet.
my 30 was too small and Bogged big time , I turned the air screw in to about 1/4 turn to get going. Replaced with 35 pilots and back to about 1/1/4 turns out If I remember correctly

Got a kit in the H2B..

Worth every cent...transformed the bike...

105 mains, 37.5 pilots (i think) needle in 3rd groove
Stock bike plus K&N airfilter

Yes I have remembered wrong I did have to richen up the pilot circuit, I actually richened up needle one groove.

Initially.

When I put the squished heads that's on, that changed all that and I had to lean out the pilots also lean out the needles from the low compression settings.

I might be back to Ivan's original recommendations.

Just to further confuse the issue.
