I don't know if I'm too stupid or what but I can't find a direct replacement handlebar for my 1972 H2. I can find hundreds of bars but none that I am positive are the same shape as the originals. It seems a person should be able to search: 1972 Kawasaki H2 handlebar, and come up with a replacement, but for some reason I can't. I already bought one set and it isn't even close. Where do I look? Or maybe I should straighten the original lead filled bars and call it good.

I haven't purchased any OEM-pattern bars myself, but here are a couple of sources:

More often than not, I will do a Google search using the actual part number, rather than simply or just a name or phrase. Most of the time you will get much more extensive results this way. And for those part numbers, I look them up here, though mraxl provides a link as well I believe. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Kawasaki/Motorcycle/parts.html And in doing just this, I found the z-power link, but for diablocycle I just went to their site because they have just about everything anyway.

I use to do PERFECT repros of BOTH the styles of High Handle bars (H2/H2a & H2b/c) I even had the weights fitted, but back then people were just too tight to pay the $40 I was asking for them, you will find that neither of those sets have the weights fitted

Bars I purchased from Diablo for H1B were supposed to be replicas are Flanders bars with knurls in wrong place, I assume H2 bars from them are similarly wrong also FWIW.

And then I will still have no bars. Apparently there isn't decent replacement so I guess I'll use the really expensive incorrectly made bars. I'm surprised that there isn't a place here in the US that makes or has them. RB, I would have bought them from you. ;)
