Anyone know where I can locate new headlight bolts and the battery tray hardware? I've checked the usual sources and cannot find any repros.
Thanks,
Kevin

You need new, or good used parts? I'm headed to the indoor moto-salvage yard Saturday. Give me details on exactly what you need and I'll see if I can locate it for you. Evan

I am doing a full restoration so ideally NOS or reproduction parts is what I am looking for.
Thanks,
Kevin

So use the links I posted and get some repros from Andre Yorkie.

You do see NOS ones at evilbay from time to time.
Not so much the battery box stuff.
When I did my H1 battery box and frame, (years ago  )
I bought all new grommets and sleeves from Ron Ayers or another online seller.

EDIT:
Open the link in a new window and get the part numbers for what you need.
Then order them through a Kaw dealer if you can.

Yorkie

I got almost all new rubber parts from Diablo in Canada (or reproduction decals, I think they are the same).....a lot of really nice stuff....a couple of things seemed to be for a 72 and I have an H2B....was just happy to get them. I have a pretty good ACE hardware that has metric bolts, a lot are a real close match to stock.......I'm building kind of a hot rod bike, so I converted a bunch of stuff over to stainless allens bolts. The rest I cleaned up on a wire wheel very nicely. (and I am keeping ALL of my original parts, just in case, it could be put back to original)
