I spend a good deal of time with my two grandsons as some of you know.
Today this little brown eyed dude was one year old.
When hid grandmother came in with a small cake, she had a box with a 2nd one as well.
She said the store gave it to her for a "Smash Cake". ???? HUH

I guess its a newer thing where the youngster gets to dive in to the smash cake, preserving the "real" cake for guests, photos etc.
Not bad, the free one was chocolate, my favorite.
