I have a nice set of original paint Pheasant Gray, tank and both side covers/oil tank, removed from a 1970 H1. There is some minor rust and pitting coming through the paint. No dents, no cracks, no damage.

I would like to trade the lot for the same in original white, correct for an early '69. They don't have to be perfect, but similar to the condition of my own parts. Since I am the one initiating the trade, I do not want to end up with the short end of the stick. In other words, missing parts due to the trade.

Thanks, I got to thinking about keeping this bike original, and even though they had Gray in 69, its not original for early '69.

Proof that sometimes wear and tear is cool  , that set would be a keeper in my garage.

I figured there must be a lot of 69 original bodywork out there and just a handful of Pheasant Gray would stir up somebody, but I guess I was wrong. Does anyone have white bodywork to sell? I can always ebay the Gray........

I'm a believer in "Its only original once" and will not repaint, no matter what condition.

And a 1970 color to boot! And so bad, the dealers forced Kawasaki to change it.

It's a Great Colour!, . . . but I never saw a GREY peacock  - Somewhere around 6,500 White bikes and just VERY slightly more Grey bikes . . pretty much evens stevens . . . ORIGINAL White bodywork is rarer than . .. . . Peacocks teeth  . . . . . .
