It might, I don't know. I learned about the properties of EZ Turn by reading the military specification for it. Maybe you can find one for the product in your link. Or at that price, maybe get some, put it in gasoline for a couple days, and see if it dissolves.

Ivan recommends lapping the bowls flat again and it cured my incontinent bowls.
to make it easier is to use a plate with a 1 1/4" hole in it with some 400 wet n dry paper stuck to it.
i got OEM gaskets from Ivan as well.

Thanks "brit". I hit the link and read the other post, brilliant. I forgot about the overflow tube. Looks to be the same method as the petcock fix with no fine sanding required. I guess the two gasket method could regain any depth or capacity lost in sanding down the bowl gasket surface! (to those worried about thousandth's) EZ Lube on the way, but I'd still like a referral for a gasket retailer or Ivan's link.............Please. I'm just trying to find gaskets with the proper fit. I have two new sets that certainly don't.

Just keep in mind that EZ-Turn is not soluble in gasoline, so if a glob gets free and into the fuel, it will clog jets, etc.. Use it carefully and sparingly. You can clean it off things with rubbing alcohol, even though it resists gasoline with alcohol in it.
