Ah yes. I remember Jim's humor about the 1lb. can in another topic on petcocks. Didn't realize it can also be used as a sealer in the bowl gasket app. Sweet. I guess I'll take the petcock apart again and give that 4 hole a swipe when I get the product. I understand the theory of lapping the carb bowl sealing surface to remove any warping. I did that to the petcock surfaces after JB Weld, sanding and polishing for that leak issue. Back to the bowl gaskets, upon removal of the first old bowl gaskets (black in color) I noticed an even imprint in the gasket from the raised seal line on the carb side. In the photo I attached, you can see that the seal line fades on these dark grey sudco versions, making me realize I over tightened the bowls during many removals for carb cleanings and jetting changes. You can also see the fold, or crease, where the gasket was too long and got pinched over itself. So aside from grabbing the EZ Lube, I'm still looking for referrals to a good fitting gasket from anyone that purchased from Jess, Mid, or Z1, or a link to Ivan's site for the OEM's. Thanks for the replies.
