Lots of "I don't think's" there, not a lot of I KNOW FOR CERTAIN (FILL IN THE BLANK).

I'd still be EXTREMELY interested in just how much one of those would fetch, one still in teh crate, the last one still in the crate.

And, who says there isn't an H2R DuHamel spec street bike out there? Sounds like they don't know, either.

Lots of things people don't seem to know, only "think".

:D I Only just noticed, back from the days of the 80 MPH speedometer!

...you mean that thing will do over 80! Golly.

...why even put a speedo on the bike? Were they even connected? Did they circle around more than once? Or, was there a needle stop? So many questions, so little time!

...where is that bike, in a museum? I would figure there might be a couple around, in museums, Kawasaki probably has a crater in their collection. But, in private hands, who in their right mind would not want to start that beast up and ride it! I know I couldn't resist the temptation, no matter how much money it's worth.

...I do wonder about that bike, though. I wonder if there are any guts in those cases? Many a show piece has been put out with hollow engine and tranny cases. What makes me think that, is the fact that it was never run. Why would you not run the damn thing for the publicity crowd? You know damn well they're all dying to hear it run. See Eddie do a burn out, maybe? Doesn't make sense. Hollow motors also make it easier for set up guys to be pushing the bike around. Although, it doesn't bother me that much, I'd still like to own it. Even if I could only push it up and down my driveway. ;)

Which bike was never run? The eBay bike was raced and recently started. The one RB is sitting on probably has a known history..?

...Correct. Sorry if I muddied the waters a bit.

...I must be thinking too much, or is it not enough? Maybe both!

...What I do know is, seeing those 2 bikes just makes me happy.

...But, I'd still prefer a factory H2R. Run, or unrun. Makes no difference to me.

Oh, and Superbike rules required a "factory-ish" look, that's why there is a speedo.

...Yeh, I know. But, really?

...I still want to know if the needle does laps around the inside of that 80 MPH speedo.
