I never could convince myself to take my S2 apart, so I made this into a H1 tracker.

I stressed at every ounce that went on, and it came out at 287 lbs. A sharp eye will see that the brake hoses are still missing, so add another pound to that total. (Diablo Cycle has the hoses on the way)

The forks are 35mm Betors, I attached a caliper mount for the brake. Mounted by wide, adjustable offset, Weis billet clamps.
The wheels are 19" Akront replicas, with Maxis CD-5 tires. Hubs/brakes on both ends are Suzuki RM450.

A bunch of hours went into this project! I learned to weld again, about 2 1/2 pipes late

, (they are ok...).

The finish on the pipes is gun blue with mop-n-glo

, I really like the finish.

The silencer

is a piece of 4" aluminum tube.

The pegs & levers are from a GSX750, I made the mounts from aluminum plate.
Notice the welding on the Champion frame! They did good!

The seat/tail are carved from foam,
covered in epoxy resign mixed with micro-balloons,

a seat base was molded,

the seat pad was made from laminated sleeping bag pad,

Paint is Imron, this is the yellow stripe being applied: (the blue is already there)

I am not using a battery.

I'm in the market for a -004 (marked with a "N") ignition pickup, if anybody has one for sale. I robbed one from my "spare" motor for now..

I've got TM-32 flatslides mounted, with just the adaptors, had to use some sheet to form a sealing face between the adaptor & cylinder. The carbs were a real tight fit, having to file the bowl drain plugs down for clearance.

I expect the package from Diablo soon, have been tempted to do just a "short" run with no brakes...
