80 weight gear oil is not heavy.

Gerrit, did you have to Machine the back of the aluminium clutch hub (.030") for that mod? Anyone....? (I can't seem to find details of the specific H2 clutch mod on the Resource Site!? :think:

Just bite the bullet and buy a new clutch kit and use 2stroke gearbox oil :thumbup: :thumbup: , I had a heavy clutch and slipping problems :o , fitted new barnet kit with springs and motol 2stroke gearbox oil and its lighter than before and never slips , a tip for you Rod :wave: :wave:

Cheers, Al - Not too hard a pull with Barnett springs? Do you use all 5 springs? ( I have Ralf's finer-geared release, which must help!)

No, Rod, I didn't. At the time (1993 or so) I knew that Denco had modified the clutch centre for their 15-plate kit, but no details- I only discovered them much later. As the mod worked perfectly I never bothered to do the machining and the clutch centre remains stock to this day.
Springs are stockers, only added an FBG ball bearing pusher.

Rod I think I used 3 springs and it feel ok to me nowhere as hard as it was before , I use to have trouble if I didnt ride it for a week or so it would lock up , no more trouble with that now ( did run ATF before ) ,

My H2 with Denco's would slip slightly even with a proper clutch package and the right oil.
I made 3 mods at once which I would highly recommend assuming the original parts meets spec:
* Clutch mod
* 3 Barnett springs
* Sytec or equivalent clutch actuator to keep the 3 Barnett springs from being too hard to pull (assuming you have girly wrists like my family is cursed with)
