Hey Everyone , picked up a 70 H1 and wanting to restore it ,most of the bike is there except
The gas tank , I know how hard they are to find but thought I would start here , any help

There was one at our "british bike" show /autojumble version of Mid-Ohio last week
original 69 tank colours but needed arespray due to the rust on it!!
a mere $675!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could get a hold of a 69-70 tank to mold to make fiberglass replicas........

Yes you did, but it was just for dimensions for my stretched tank. And I thought about moulding it then, but I think it was supposed to go off to the guy from Sudco pretty quick.

And I would give a decent discount for a tank in good shape to mold. ;)

Great idea , or Make a fiberglass piece that goes onto the sides of a 71 tank ,are they the same
Shape ? if so they are easy to get. Any way bought the rusty one off eBay , I'm sure I have my work
