Well Im still staring at it!

I need to take the plunge and start hacken' and put my best carpentry skills into it, If I pretend its wood, then I wouldn't be so nervous. I know I can make wood do whatever I need to, I'm guess'n the only difference is material , cut it, fit it, have it welded. One of the problems is every time I start on one thing I find something else that is going to need attention to get this project on the road and Im like a squirrel, find a nut run with it a while, find another, drop the first one, and so on

I have even started thinking about the frame geometry, my cousin who started this project worked at Buell and had told me he was trying to hit some rake, trail, and length they thought would be good but I have no idea what it was or if he accomplished it. More working less thinking might help, one thing at a time, unless of course I build myself into a corner!
Seems like most here are getting ready for Deals Gap. Someday maybe I'll find my way there. Hope for good weather and good times for all.
