You should put a kx85 front end on it to get the small disc brake, or an older kx80 if you don't want the invert forks. You could maybe go with ones off of a kx65 if the length of the 85's are to long. I don't think the 65 forks would be any less spindly than the original forks on that bike.

problem, the KX wheels are 19" and 28 spoke. Would look funny. And no 18" rims for 28 spokes so far. :banghead

I am pretty sure only the 85 bigwheel and the 100 had 1 19 front. The standard 85 has a 17". Besides John, not everyone is a cheapskate, Buchannans can drill the size rim you want with any amount of holes you want :e11
