For the first time in about 4 months we had a weekend that wasn't hot, low 80's and time to ride the H2.
Went to the garage and did the pre-ride check, crap, front tire is flat. 9am and Cycle gear opens at 10.
Go to jack up the bike and remembered my small jack stands are at work. Off to autozone to buy another
pair of jack stands. 9:45 front tire is off and on my way to Cycle gear. Get there and decided to have them
change to tube and head back home to get the FZR400 ready to list on ebay today. Get the FZR out
and photo it and crap, found a screw in the rear tire. Phone rings and Cycle gear has my tire ready 90mins
early. Back to Cycle gear to pick up the H2 tire and buy a rear for the FZR. "What size tire you need
for your FZR400 he said". A Battlax BT090 150/60R-18, no you can't get those, crap. Headed back home
and said screw it, time for a ride on the H2.

Took only 15mins. to mount the wheel and I was off. Ran her up to redline a few times and my morning was
forgotten. There's something about a Kawasaki triple that really makes a bad day not so bad

They are both D.I.D. rims with the front 2.75 wide running a 100/90-18. Rear is 3.50 wide with a 130/90-18 and it
just fits missing the chain and moving the brake arm to the outside of the bracket. I have Bridgestone S11's on it now
and run them or Battlax on the old bikes. The 18" front makes a big difference, but the speedo runs a little fast

Yeah, I have a 3.50x18 DID on the back too - spot it a mile away! Nice bike, very similar to mine!

Had a good day Saturday, my buddy and I got his CB350 running! It makes you feel good even when it's not a triple! It was missing on left cylinder at first, cutting in and out but just cleaning the points brought it back to two! Runs almost as strong as an S2 running on two!
