My h2 is nearly finished (other than some cosmetic issues) but I guess I should post it here.
It started out as a nice mildly modified h2b.

Not one to leave well enough alone, I decided to tear it down and build a "special". It was decided to swap a '86 fz600 front end and rear end to the stock h2b frame. A set of WTF "crossover" pipes were ordered and delivered. Installation went smoothly with the help of a number of skilled friends. The whole process went fairly easily, but soon after, I lost interest and momentum slowed to a halt.

The plan was to retain the stock profile of the tank/seat/tail, just cut down to shorten the overall length. I screwed that plan up by prematurely chopping up the seat pan. Crap.
Fast forward 12 months or so, to the Spring of 2012 and I went to plan B... a solo seat.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... and here we are looking like this today.

It runs pretty good too!
Waiting now to get the new suspension sorted out. I have RaceTech internals for the front end and a Penske shock on order for the rear. That should do it for the time being.
The only thing left will be the cosmetics.
And there ya go.
It's not for everyone, but I like it! It didn't exactly look the way I first thought it would, but I like how it turned out just the same. The ride and handling is better than I might have guessed too. Can't wait to see how the upgrades improve it!
