About a month ago got smashed from behind on my Valk, coming home from work.

When the light turned green I apparently didn’t blast off quick enough for this lady behind me. The only damage appears to be the plates.

She was a meanie, the meanest of the mean, you can see her with the shades and that head cocked to the side. Strange, not once did she step out side to assess the damage.
She did however, forcibly ask if I was ok

Snapped a few more pics with the iPhone. Also snapped pics of her driver license and insurance papers (I had no pen or paper). After she realized what I was doing she grabbed her insurance papers from my hand saying “What are you doing taking pictures…” She later said “You took off and stopped.” As if it mattered what I did I said “No, I just didn’t take off fast enough for you”.

The next day called her insurance company, she flatly denied running into me. The insurance people ask if I could send any pics of the damage. After sending what I had insurance agreed to pay. Total bill $1,134. Insurance did offer a loaner while the bike was being repaired, I thought about it but I just didnt want to mess with it.

Picked up the parts yesterday plus new rear brake pads.

Gorilla glued a few parts and taped the harness.

Good as new...almost

Joe, I'm glad you didn't get hurt, and glad you thought to take photos. I've been thinking for years that I should always carry my teeny camera, since my cell phone doesn't have one, and now I really will. Excellent outcome!

You gotta stay out of the way of those "Urban Assault Vehicles", Joe! (Glad you weren't hurt!)

If you're going to be bad, be nasty. Anchovie paste in the air intake vents at the base of the windshield

Yea, and I can top it all off by spray polishing her Lexus’s hood with that Aircraft finish, I think its similar to the original
Honda Spray Cleaner but more powerful. All you have to do is spray it on and walk away, it knows what to do 8-)
