I stopped off in town today and there are some WONDERFUL old cars making the trip, I just got a '69 H1 running so will take a trip dowmn to town in the morning to see them off :thumbup:

That looks to be like a very interesting event, Rick. If you ride a 69 H1 down to that town though, I bet all eyes may not be on the cars - there are certain to be a few car enthusiasts who recognize that rare bike you have :shock: Just about only 4,000 produced worldwide, right?

By the way, when I looked at that map I noticed that while you are on the Lower Peninsula of Michigan you are quite close to the Upper Peninsula. I did some work in the forestry industry years back and met some interesting folks or "yoopers" when I traveled to the heavily forested rural areas of the "U.P." I right away noticed their interesting "dialect, so I wonder if the locals in your area speak this way. You betch ya, eh?

I did take the '69 H1 down, (around 6,200 produced - the "factory" figures are incorrect) - the H1 attracted some interest but NOTHING like the interest that those wonderful cars attracted :thumbup:

Lovely old cars indeed. It is just such a damned shame they spoil them all with a plethora of messy looking sponsor stickers :thumbdown:
