 Post subject: 1970/71 A1 or A7 seat

looking for a seat for a 1970/71 A1 or A7 , I'm afraid My A7ss seat has rotted away including the foam.

The foam will be the tough part... You can get some decent covers on ebay at reasonable prices.... I thought about trying to reshape one of RB's H1 foams for the A7 - or take one of them to a local upholstery shop and see how closely they could match it for density etc...

My last option is to take an early H1 seat and modify the Hinge mounts etc.

You should try to find a correct pan as the H1 pan will look wonky... I see them on ebay now and then..

I posted on the A series forum and an hour later one shows up on E Bay off a 69 A7ss..Pan solid , hinges and latches still there :D . Seat cover is something else..lol

I do need the RH side seat trim if anyone should have one.

I found a pair of seat trims and your welcome to them Ian. Steve, shoot me your address and I'll mail them off.

Just cover the postage. When you get them, if you can use them, great! I don't know what their worth so whatever. :?

I had two extra sets, and these were the best pair. Not perfect but you should be able to dress them up nice.

If you need a pic first., let me know.
