I just now found out that the spokes on my bike a not chrome but shiny posihed metal (looks like chrome). they rust but not to bad. what can I use as not to have them rust? Wipe with mop and glow? I don't mind the work to keep them looking good.

Try that spray wax you use for when you wash your car. Mist it on and give it a rough wipe down with a towel. You can put it on as often as you like.

Stock spokes are galvanized. If the coating is removed they will rust. Wax will protect them as long as the wax coating exists.
