Anyone use the port. tanks for holding air? 5gal, 10gal. Looking for something that I can have when I'm atving but would have enough capacity to maybe inflate 2 trailer tires or so if need be. Thanks

Scuba bottles are the best obviously because of what they are capable of holding. But they need a regulator, current hydro, and six bucks or so a fill. What about a 12 volt el cheapo air compressor, the emergency car kit ones. Atv's need little air psi and I'm assuming electri start so 12 volt availability.

Ive got a 5 gallon that I used to keep in my van when I needed to trim out a single window or door for work. It beat carrying the 100lb compressor up 3 flights of stairs. Ive now got a small dewalt compressor that doesn't weigh much more than the airtank..

anyways. I've found that the 5 gallon airtank filled to 120PSI will fill 2 garden tractor tires, which are probably equivalent to one (regular car/truck/large trailer) sized tire. Probably better off going with a 10 gallon if you have the room for it.

I've got a 5gal used it for years, cheap and easy stuff. Made a short hose that wraps around the handle - no problems.
