New transformer, in basic terms a phase to phase or phase to ground condition existed, 12000 volts straight into a fault and the fuse didn't blow. Heads are gonna roll. I don't even want to go to work tomorrow. Luckily no one was hurt. This truck was close to the transformer obviously.

Yeah, you may recall my comment about a passerby falling into one of our manholes whilst the crew had their backs turned? ( there was a motorcycle in a manhole pic). Anyway, our yard is in a heap of hot water due to a bad safety year and this is going to make it a lot worse. Last chance letters, days off unpaid, you name it. And the stress of getting caught breaking a rule on top of the stress of a dangerous job already is going to make a bunch of onery bastards onerier.( not sure if that's a word). So sick of safety talks I'm going to take a cyanide pill. Ugh.
