Goodies came today.

Ordered a couple of clutch cables. The 1977 IT175 and the 1975 DT400 take the same, ordered two. Ordered cheap chain for the 175, it'll be for the wife, I think she'll be a one-time ride on it and not like motorcycles...

The Uni's came, I think they'll look great.

Question on oiling them, normally there's enough spit I never worried about it but with reeds is there a need to oil them (Moo?)...

I just put a very very light coat of liquid wrench or the like, just to make the dirt stick to the foam........

Two things. The pool table is 8' and 3/4" slate. Couldn't beat the price at $250. Alsa makes some great paints. 8-)

That IS great, it says Silver on the can but it came out a nice Kawasaki Green on the table!

I really like Bottle Pool, and I see you have a nice bottle.

That pic of the table was taken at the owners house. I'm getting the thing moved to our house on Tuesday. The wife asked me 'what are you gonna do when we get this pool table here?'. I told her 'Walk your a** on it.'

Paint may say silver but it won't be that color when I'm done with it. 8-)

I was wondering what that was. What's it for? Never saw one myself.

The bottle is used for several things, including as a shaker.

Quote:
Bottle
Also shake bottle, pea bottle, pill bottle, tally bottle, kelly bottle.

The bottle used in various games to hold numbered peas, it is employed to assign random spots to players in a roster (such as in a tournament), or to assign random balls to players of a game.

But here's bottle pool:

I like it because it's very different from the usual games. It's sort of a cross between billiards and pool.
