I used to be from Whittier, I ain't rich by any stretch of the imagination, I ride bicycles, and I can tell a rich yuppie out of control bicyclist from the rest of us, no problem. I was riding in town yesterday, just finished a nice double suspension Specialized mountain bike, was towing my parts trailer with it, in the bicycle lane on Main Street, and almost got nailed, twice, in less than 100 feet distance between the two events, by two different drivers, both rich, both idiots, both drive like they are the only ones on the road, and both used to be rich yuppie bay area California "drivers". Yesterday, out of the 8 years, 7 months I have lived here, were the only two riding incidents I have ever had here, and neither were caused by out of control, poor, rural redneck back woods drivers like me.
