Hey Guys,
I have a 1972 H2 that will be put on craigslist or Ebay this week. I have owned this bike since 1984 it has never been crashed or even down. I rode this bike through the years on the street and then decided to roadrace it in 1991 after much work was done to make it handle like I wanted. When I was younger I worked at a shop in Orlando, Fl whose owner was a roadrace addict. So with his help and a very talented machinist named Charles E. Sackett the bike was modified again and again. I loved this bike and still do but I realized I have other projects that need to get done and i need the capital to make those dreams come true. I had great success on this bike. The highlights was finishing second behind Todd Henning and ahead of the legendary John Long of Longevity Racing. I also raced in WERA and finished second to Dick Gruhn a multi-time champion form Ga. He had an H2 that was just a little bit faster than mine that day. So apart it came and some more mods were done so that wouldnt happen again. I last raced this bike at Road Atlanta in the GNF but unfortunatly it seized up in am practice and I never got to see the fruits of my labors.
Fast forward about 15 yrs give or take with life getting in the way I have only ridden it on the street in short little blasts now and again to keep everything limber. I am the second owner and again I stress it has never been down. Unless you count the beveled stock footpegs I left on it.
I have no way at the moment to post pics here but if you go to the KTW website and go to gallery and find Thads pics you can see it. I think the number I used at that time was 139. It is a Blue H2 with sun rims. When I put it on Ebay I will list all the stuff it has. Yamaha rods with 38mm carbs, FBG pro fat pipes, suzuki GS500 swingarm, 38mm forks, kawasaki ELR S1 front rotors with GSXR calipers. Well you get the idea. I am still thinking about what to sell it for. Any imput you guys have will be appreciated. Thanks for listening. Sorry about not having pictures. Maybe one of you guys can steal it from KTW and post it here.
Thad Q.

Gorgeous. Whose pipes are those? Very nicely done.
I hope you will post it on this forum, as my sign-in on the "other" forum hasn't worked for months, and despite my repeated requests, they show no interest in resolving that.

Wherever you post it, please post the link here so we can participate (or at least dream).
I'd sure like to have that in my garage. :)

Thanks for the kind words guys. I am asking 8k for it. This includes a lot of parts to make it street legal. Wiring harness, Reg/rec, Stator with charge system intact. The one on the bike now has no charging coils. A NOS H2 speedometer 1973 model with 1100 miles on it. Factory grab rail. Custom oil tank made from aluminum.
The pipes are FBG drag pipes that have been modified to not drag the ground. The silencers are FPP. You can remove the silencers and still run the bike because there are two mounts. Loud and FUN.
