Well, I dont know really. I have spark on the plugs but it won't start anymore. The engine makes a noise when kicking it over.

What kind of noise? All engines make noise when kicked.

It sounds broken, a rattling noise, not anything like my H1B or H1D.

It was a PIA putting the engine back and fixing tings like resoldering the switch to the back brake light and so on. Now it's only good for the scrapheap. I'm devastated.

Damage to one cylinder won't cause all three to not fire. You could post a recording of the noise and maybe someone here can help. Otherwise, removing the cylinders is easy, and may show you what's causing the noise.

I was thinking the compression is ruined because of seizure and therefore it won't start, but one bad cylinder wouldn't cause that as you say.

A pin has detached from somewhere and made a hole in the middle cylinder head that it's stuck into.

That sounds serious! Can you post a photo of the pin?

I can take of photo tomorrow, it looks like it's from the piston needle bearing.
