I just resealed my oil pump and while fitting the lines I found that the oil supply banjo fitting is 8mm and the banjo bolt is 6mm. I thought this was strange. I didn't have either the bolt or the fitting in the tubs of parts so I purchased them from two different vendors. Is this normal? Is there different bolt or fitting that is used to eliminate the sloppy fit? I grabbed these two images from eBay. I know the bolt images are incorrect for the application but they have a larger shoulder at the top that would help centering and keeping the fitting in place.

This is what I have. Now the the sealing washers for this fitting are larger, but you can see how much the fitting can move around.
Just seems like a poor fit.

These are a set of fittings from a eBay ad.

These are a set of banjo bolts with a shoulder. Although they are not for this application.

The oil pump banjo should have a smaller opening on the side the bolt head contacts. That keeps it centered. If not, that's the wrong one.

This is the banjo bolt for attaching oil line to pump: https://kawatriple.com/partid/list2/92060-009.jpg
I may be wrong but I thought all pump banjo bolts are the same except oil tank line banjo is longer.
It looks like someone has made some changes to attach your line.

I checked the banjo fitting this morning. Apparently both sides of the fitting I have are 8mm. Not like the image shown on the eBay ad. Thanks for the replies I'll get it straightened out.
