A gentleman is selling a set of green tanks and covers in my area. (only 400km away) But looking at his tanks and decals and the shape of my tank something doesn't add up. Can you look at the photos and tell me what year is what? My bike seems to be an H1E but that doesn't mean the tank is.
If his Green tank on the right is for an H1E, the decal is for an H1F, I am wrong?

Tank on left is H2B. Tank on right has H1F decals but green was not an option for H1F.

Of course Dale is correct. I think H1D, E and F tanks are all the same .. but with different paint schemes available for the different model years.

Dale, how do we know the tank is a F model?

I have the D (green-repainted white) and a E (green-original)

Just wondering

I didn't say it was H1F but that it had H1F style decals.

I believe the 73 H1D and 74 H1E had the rounded style of decal on the tanks like this:

And then in 75 they went to the sharp forward point decal similar to the green one you show.
