Thanks. He also gave out shirts. :) I wasn't sure how many Sammys there were but there's only one Zammy!

The latest from Mike:

Talked to Sammy again a couple minutes ago. He started a liquid diet this morning (from nothing but water and crushed ice for the past 7 days). Enjoyed some chicken broth soup, which he said was the best he ever had, after all that water (hahahahaha). Still a positive outlook so far, it will just be a long road.

The latest on Sammy from RJ Reynolds via Facebook:

Alright. I just got a call from webmaster Sammy Stetler. He was in the midst of the morning poke, prod and pinch. He is in great spirits and is receiving wonderful care. He also does not mind folks knowing that he had serious doubts about making it a few days ago. He is much more confident about making future plans now. He is grateful for Michael Long taking care of his ongoing Yamaha project and all he has done to support him and Allison.
Sammy Stetler experienced a digestive system blockage that was of genetic origin. He had two back to back surgeries that kept him open for two days and sedated to a paralyzed state. He has experienced a very traumatic experience and is lucid and talkative.

Thanks again, Chris. I'll look forward to seeing Sammy alive and well at Deals Gap!

Sammy, if you're seeing this, please heal quickly and be well soon!
