SO....new Barnett clutch, S2 clutch cable, Ralf's amazing brass fine adjustment/ratio release.....works perfectly......!!! Install tank....70% increase in friction, just the bends, come on you guys, we can do this!! (Flat bars, limited space........) :think:

The solution is to go hydraulic. I did 42 years ago.

Hi Rod try running the cable around R/h side of steering head , i am using standard cable with fine actuator ,barnet clutch and springs and mine isnt that heavy

Okay, found the perfect route, but I need a cable 4'' shorter than an S series cable! Surprising how much "stiction" there is in a simple blend, even with a mild radius...! I had a Hydro. clutch on my GPZ900R, Jim, but that had a bit more room for the "furniture"!! Bit of dry graphite lube, bit of adjustment, we'll get there!

NEVER had a bit of trouble with stock street bike H2 clutch cable, routed correctly, even with 5 Barnett springs and stock 6 run plastic release.
