My H2B has been draining the battery down as it sits. No biggie to ride, magneto CDI is good like that. Is charging fine I think, headlight is bright, have not checked voltage at the battery with the motor running. However, I need to figure it out. I disconnected the positive battery terminal and attached a multimeter to the terminal and ground. When I turn the key on (no battery connected), it goes to close to zero, a closed circuit, as it should. But when I turn the key off, it slowly gains ohms, so goes from an open circuit to 2000 ohms or more. I went through some of the main things, moved switches, opened the headlight and looked for shorts or rubbed wires, checked the under seat wire bundle, looked inside the LH handlebar switch, disconnected the brake light out box, nothing looks out of place nor makes any difference. Any ideas?
