Hi, bit of an update.....
The new brake works really well. I had same setup on my Suzuki a while ago, that brake was really awesome. This brake is good about 70 percent of what the Suzuki was. Difference is the disc, I suppose
It’s because these discs are hard as a hores hart. But I am very happy with the brake, more than enough and twice as good as the drum I had on there.
First photo is just a nice a photo of bike in a state that I like.
We just had our big classic race meeting for the year, and I got 3rd overall on the kwaka.
Not bad really, me and the bike is capable of much better times but I always have worry in the back of my mind of the damage that would happen if dropped. Would probably damage crank if left or oil pump if right. And I am running out of side covers! But I enjoy it and don’t push to hard. Spectators love it.
Yellow bike is my pre89 F1 race bike, competition is much tougher in this class, but I also push much more. ( it slides on its side quite well) This year I got 8th overall I think. Not bad for a big 52 year old that has only been racing for 7 years. And racing against the best racers in the country.
All good.
H1 is sorted.
Next project is more power for FZR
Cheers

Great stuff, you need to change those stainless steel (type) discs for something like these babies.......(if pic. works!) There will be a few sets floating around in N.Z.

Good discs/bad calipers
I would estimate I have 40 percent more stopping power than that front end. Really they do work well
Rules don’t allow drilled discs.

Hello COOPS, (don’t know your name, sorry)
Have you met a racer named Ted Sagar?
He races a KR250 in New Zealand.
