Rod the tank is metalic. It's a H2 base with modified S2 tank for the top .
A little more than 22 liters with genuine seat.
The tank was made for Claude Rochefort when he raced on Bol d'Or Classic 2009.
As you know fuel range is always a big issue when you raced on endurance with H2.
Laverda 1000 Ducati 900 SS and Guzzi 850 LM refueled less than one time when you refueled twice with H2.

Thanks, JP, that looks good. I never worried about the 'economy' of a H2, just the fact it had the World's smallest 17 litre tank!! They could have easily made it 25mm bigger all round!

Wil thanks for the nice offer but like many my big issue is time.
So I sadly don't expect to come back USA soon.

Rod for road use big tank is very convenient.
When I went to the Alsace french triple meeting at the end of september I refueled twice on 560 kilometers.
When I did it years before with standart tank I refueled 5 times.
Better when I came back on sunday for Germany -as we do the runout in Germany cauz less cops and radar- I did 650 kilometers with also 2 refueling.
Am ride 5000 to 6000 with TM 32 around 9 to 10 liters per 100 kilometers with 7500 on german highway w/O speed limit

Hava also a 26 liters tank for my 69 H1 (made by Friedel Munch on the early 70s) and a 22 liters for H2 (french maker Langle from the 70s), both in resin and they finish lay on the seat.
