He is already gone or will leave as soon as he gets the information he wants. He has no interest in triples, just what money he can make off of them. And it is quiet here, massively busy on FB where things have gone to. This is still the board for technical triple answers. Quality over quantity......

No argument there John.
A great forum for information.
What it matters to you as to the seller is a mystery to me however.
He is not the 1st or last person to seek help in getting a value for something he knows nothing about is he?

After all, this the best place for information as you said.

I would hope the reason the board has become a ghost town is because we are all out riding. Still have at least 3 more months of seat time around here.

Yep, lots of good riding days even here with fall hitting here fast Buddy.
Leaves are going to start turning big time and that makes for nice rides through the Catskills and Adirondacks here.
Once the leaves start falling, its a bit tricky at times though. ;)
Wish we had the longer riding season you fellas have down South.

Joe asked a question, I answered it concisely of why he came to the board.

no apologies either. i already explained exactly what you have repeated....what is the big deal? i rescued a couple old bikes i am not interested in restoring. i know there are people in the world who would like bikes like these, so came to two forums to offer them to anyone who would be happy to have them. i have not (nor will i) hold a gun at someone's head to get money from them. i will, however, accept that someone out there will be happy to get the bikes at a fair price.

that is the reason i am here, and i have made that clear (i think). numerous people here have vastly more experience with these motorcycles than i, so i asked for advice.

i am having a hard time figuring out why some of you feel insulted and are being demeaning about all this. is it because you're pissed because you didn't find them in someone's barn?

thankfully there are some here that are forthcoming with information a newcomer asked for.

the rest of you dweebs really don't count.

rant on

regards, gerry

You acted with the same disrespect on the Canadian board also. I know all I need to know.......

who started with the disrespect? i don't remember disrespecting anyone. is there a sticky dealing with disrespect? if not, perhaps there should be one so people like me know before they ask for advice, how to do it without offending someone.

No point with arguing. I hope you got the information you needed to make some money.

i'm still struggling to see your point. but sometimes people are just pointless (unless, of course, they have 10 thousand or so posts and the self professed credibility to go with it) :banghead .........we do agree that enough has been said. i shouldn't have allowed you to draw me into it, and i'm done. :e9

regards,
