Very impressive, but at 123 Grand a bunch of $$$$$$$. I was a bit disappointed to see what looked like a 1000 4 banger wheelie by like the Suter was standing still......

I have had ideas for awhile now to design and build something similar, but a 1000cc 4 cylinder two stroke, based off the long lived YZ250 cylinder and rotating assembly. Modify two of the inner crank halves to be able to couple two cranks together. Drive both primary gears to the clutch, use a Hayabusa clutch and gearbox guts. The rear cylinder pair would drive through a secondary primary gear, just another crank spur gear, to make the rear pair of cranks rotate backwards so their cylinders could have the exhaust ports facing backwards. Hydroformed pipes like my H2. CNC billet crankcase halves, all buried in a carbon, nomex honeycomb upper/ lower frame that was also the tank top and fairing lower. Could produce them for a hell of a lot less than $125 K that's for sure. Be an amazing ride I bet, 200+ HP at 7K rpm, cheap available rebuild parts, etc.

It'd make a nice street bike, once lights were fitted. DGA, go forth, sir, that is what I am doing, but, don't really have the time lately.

If you look closely at the very earliest factory service manuals for the Yamaha RZ500, just below the printed RD/RZ500, is a very faint covered up printing of "RD/RZ700".

If someone had already produced 3D CAD solid models of the cylinders and crank assembly, and were willing to pass them along, I would actually start drawing it all. And yes, has to be street based, sales are too limited for track only race bikes.
