Anyone going this year to Midohio? The last time I was there was 2008, 10 years ago. I am planning to be there this year but I am not expecting the atmosphere to be like it used to. Anyway, I just wanted to celebrate 20th year of the NAKTC even though I have not been very active due to many things. I also noticing that this board is kinda quiet nowadays.

I went last year, will probably go this year as well, but I certainly won't take my H2B to grind around in the dust, have an XR100 for that....

Well thats one way of putting it Jim.
A large group of those "defectors" or KTOG regulars, meet there every year and many bring there triples.
Lots of activity there

Mid Ohio should be even better this year and the atmosphere is nothing less than awesome....

Every time I have ever gone to Mid-Ohio, it wasn't to attend a group of street riders, although that is fun, but, to be right down in the middle of it, racing on the track, working on my bikes in the pits. Mid-Ohio is always a great race, except the one year we lost the Team Yamaha kid, Larry.

YT there will be as far as I know about 25 to 30 attending this year we are always in the campground area near where they have the burnout competition at night,, just look for RBs set up with the Kawasaki banner and Britsh flags,, we all camp in that area and someone is always around as is a lot of triples as well,, we have a pig roast one night and steak dinner with all the fixings another night,, please stop by it would be great to meet you..

Send me a PM if you like and I can e mail you pictures where we all stay if that would be easier..

It's good to know that a number people will be there. They never charged me before for setting a corral in the infield before but this year it will cost $400 -- ouch. I may not setup a corral this year but is there room for me to hang out by you guys in the camp ground since I will will have a 20-ft club trailer? Do I have to buy a spot in the camp ground since I never been up there before? I did book a Motel 6 in Mansfield for the nights. Any guidance from you guys is appreciated.

When you buy your event tickets you will have to buy a “tent camping pass” for the days you will be staying, this will allow you access to the campgrounds and you will be able to park and setup where we all stay,, you do not need to pay for the motorhome parking...

Here is a link..
https://www.ticketalternative.com/event ... cycle-days

Also YT they sell a weekend pass and then you can add the camping pass to that as well, that totals around $100.00,, the camping pass will also cover four people on your site if I remember correctly...
It may be best to call and order tickets over the phone..

I hope that helps, Im a little rusty,, I haven’t bought tickets in two years,,, someone else buys them for me and then I reimburse him later..

Bring a mini bike / trail bike as well, we actually camp at the furthest spot from the "event" and it's a good half mile walk, as others have said, there is generally about 30 of us in a group, let me know when you will be arriving and we will cordon off a parking spot for you (It gets filled up quickly). Sadly, the facilities at Mid Ohio have gone down each Year and the prices have gone up!

Awesome! We plan to be there Friday morning so PLEASE DO save us a parking spot. It might be just me and the Big Guy (Shawn) coming this year. I will buy a weekend pass with camping correct? I suppose my pit bike will be the F11 250.

When do you guys plan to be there?
